Pedro Reina Pérez is a Puerto Rican historian, journalist and writer. In a career that spans over 25 years, Pedro has published 10 books and has dedicated himself to teaching, researching and creative writing for numerous cultural and media projects. He is a columnist for Puerto Rico’s leading newspaper El Nuevo Día and for one of Spain’s leading newspapers El País. Pedro is also a contributing writer for ReVista: Harvard Review of Latin America, and for TheNewYorker.com. He is a Senior Fellow in the Cultural Agents Initiative and was the Wilbur Marvin Visiting Scholar at the David Rockefeller Center for Latin American Studies, both at Harvard University. Pedro currently teaches at the University of Puerto Rico and Harvard University.
