Jerónimo Duarte Riascos

Jerónimo Duarte Riascos is a PhD student in the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. He received his B.A. in Literature and Law, and his M.A. in Literature and Art History from the University of the Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. He has worked with the Cultural Agents Initiative at Harvard since 2011, and has participated in Pre-Texts implementations both in the Boston area and abroad. He is the recipient of the Romance Grant, awarded by Harvard University, and has worked as an editor and a teacher. Jerónimo’s present research interests include Latin American contemporary literature and visual culture, pedagogy, and the intersection of ethics and aesthetics in culture and politics.
